Project Writing Plan / Discussion Board / Wimba Participation

Using the references provided by Dr. Pittman and Dr. Gould, a plan for completion of all assigned coursework will be created. The document will outline the specific assignments, due date, date of submission and point value.
The discussion board will consist of a response to the given prompt and then an adequate response to another cohort member’s posting.
Writing Portfolio The portfolio will be completed through Blogger and can be accessed at the following link: http://jef58.blogspot.com. Reflections regarding the writing, all writing submitted and/or revised, and major journals regarding the research focus will be warehoused via this medium.

Annotated Bibliography

Continue to procure and examine sources from scholarly journals in order to expand upon the literature base established through previous coursework. The annotated bibliography will be developed from a theme or subject standpoint and sources will be listed in this manner on the submitted copy.

Grant Proposal (Spencer Dissertation)

Examine the requirements for the structure of the literature review adhering to the grant guidelines. Read the selection “The Art of Writing Grant Proposals” and then complete the submission process for the grant (via the Internet).

Poster Presentation

A poster will need to be developed (format and template to be provided) outlining the current understanding of my research topic, research question(s), and how it addresses any gaps in current literature. Along with the poster, an abstract will be developed so it can be included in any promotional materials dispersed during the presentation.

Final Literature Review

Using information gleaned from the development of the annotated bibliography, an extensive and focused literature review will be developed and include 25 to 30 pages and a minimum of 25 references. This will be the document used as part of the research proposal.
